Peer Review Policy
The Journal of Integrative Sport Science and Human Performance adopts a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality.
Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JISSHP undergo a double-blind peer review process after an initial editorial screening. In this process, both author and reviewer identities are kept confidential.
Initial Screening
- The manuscript is evaluated by the editor in terms of scope, scientific contribution, and formatting.
- Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be rejected without peer review.
- Plagiarism and ethical compliance checks are conducted at this stage.
Reviewer Assignment
- The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.
- Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise.
- A third reviewer may be assigned if necessary.
Evaluation Criteria
- Scientific originality and contribution
- Methodological rigor
- Quality of data analysis and interpretation
- Use of relevant literature
- Clarity and quality of writing
Decision Process
- Accept
- Minor/Major Revision
- Reject
Review Principles
- Reviewers must maintain confidentiality.
- Reviews must be objective and scientific.
- Reviewers must decline if a conflict of interest exists.
Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in line with reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated.
Transparency and Ethics
The peer review process is conducted in accordance with COPE guidelines. Scientific integrity and academic honesty are maintained throughout.
