Conflict of Interest Policy
The Journal of Integrative Sport Science and Human Performance is committed to transparency and impartiality in the publication process.

General Principle
A conflict of interest refers to any financial, institutional, or personal relationship that may influence the evaluation or presentation of a research study. JISSHP requires all stakeholders to disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Responsibilities of Authors
- Authors must disclose all financial support and relationships that may influence the study.
- All sponsorships, grants, and project supports must be clearly stated in the manuscript.
- Personal, academic, or institutional relationships must be declared transparently.
- If no conflict exists, a statement such as “The authors declare no conflict of interest” must be included.
Responsibilities of Editors
- Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists.
- Editorial decisions must be made objectively and impartially.
- An alternative editor should be assigned when necessary.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest related to the manuscript they are evaluating.
- They should withdraw from the review process in case of a conflict.
- All evaluations must be conducted objectively and based on scientific merit.
Disclosure and Transparency
- All conflicts of interest must be clearly stated within the manuscript.
- Funding sources and supporting institutions must be disclosed.
- The editorial board may request additional clarification if necessary.
Violations
Failure to disclose conflicts of interest is considered an ethical violation. In such cases, the manuscript may be rejected, retracted, or reported to relevant institutions.
